I've finished my acrylic sump project but now how long should I wait before I fill it with water?

What does the bonding medium list for a complete cure time? That is what I would be looking at.

Do you have any pics of the finished product?

oh yeah. I did finish and just got it hooked up and running. I'm kinda proud of it as it is the first time working with acrylic!

The thing is 40"X16X16. The refugium is in the middle and overflows into a LR section and then to the return area. Kinda hard to tell what is going on from the pics!

Awesome. Great job. It looks like the fuge sits on top of the LR and bubble trap areas. Is that true? You did a really good job here. How hard was it to put it all together?

no.. here is a quick diagram I made. Something like this:

Really not that hard. Just a lot of time. The pieces were cut pretty close by the plastic shop. Basically, all I had to do was route each side to make them smooth for gluing, then glue a piece and wait. glue another piece and wait.....took about a week.

Maybe a bonehead question but do you have to remove the fuge to get to the bubble trap or LR sections?
