Mr DiMarco spoke on the topic of breeding clownfish. He showed us how he is set up to accomplish this and it was quite impressive. He has successfully raised 9 different types of anemonefish.
His set-ups are all bare bottom tanks with 2 pieces of tile provided at an angle for eggs to be deposited onto. He does implement a UV sterlizer in the brood tanks. As far as filtration goes, he runs the following, all in series, an Ozone Generator, Skimmer, Cannister Filter and finally the wet/dry.
He spoke extensively on the foods required for the different growth stages of the baby fish.
