Oceanic 175 Bowfront
This tank has a 55 gallon sump, which houses a refugium. There is an in sump AquacEV 180 Skimmer. Life in the fuge consists of liverock, chaetomorpha and a couple of caulerpa species. Lights are on in the fuge 24/7. The lighting is a 3x250 watt HQI supplemented with actinic power compacts.
The main tank has 280 lbs of liverock with assorted soft corals. There are several varieties of serpent stars, asterina stars, hermit crabs and snails. Fish list is a Desjardini Tang, Scopas Tang, 2 Vlamingi Tangs, Marine Betta, Copperband Butterfly, Foxface Lo, coral beauty angel, lubbocks fairy wrasse and a Marginated damsel.
110 Gallon Aggressive Community Tank
This tank has a 40 gallon sump, no refugium. An aquamedic turbofloater-multi is the skimmer. Return line goes directly to the spray bar. The tank is not drilled and uses a HOB overflow kit. The lighting is stock flourescent tubes.
Tank contains 250 lbs of liverock. Inverts include an emerald serpent star. Fish list consists of a niger trigger, foxface lo, tomato clown, yellow tail damsel, engineer goby and a dogface puffer.
55 Gallon Reef
This tank does not have a sump, refugium or a skimmer. There is an aquaclear HOB that is there for running carbon occasionally. The flow is from a mag7 pump hooked into a spraybar. There is roughly 100 lbs of liverock in the tank. Lighting is T-5 HO.
Livestock consists of a Black Volitan Lion. There are assorted soft corals in the tank being grown out for sale.
Filtration on this tank is an aquaclear HOB filter and a DSB. There is no skimmer. A pump (can't remember the brand) powers a spraybar. Lighting is currently a shoplight fixture with twin T-8 65k in color, 40 watt bulbs.
This tank has about 50 lbs of rock. There is one fish, a yellow fimbriated eel. A few snails and crabs plus 4 serpent stars are the clean up crew.
This fresh tank has 2 fluval 404 cannister filters for filtration and stock lighting. Natural rock and silk plants are the decoration.
Fish inhabitants include 2 Discus, 1 large Black Ghost Knife, 4 Angelfish, 1 large Silver Dollar, 2 Pictus Cats, 1 Clown Loach and 1 Cory cat.
This is the ever-changing 20 gallon planted tank. Lighting is a 78 watt, High Output T-5 unit. Filtration is an Aquaclear HOB. No CO2 is used.
Fish list for this tank are 2 German Blue Rams,1 Blue Tetra, 5 Von Rio Tetra, 3 Glo Light Tetra, 1 CAE, 1 Rubber Lipped Pleco, 2 Cory Cats, 1 discus, 4 threadfin rainbows and a few Apple Snails.
Plants, at this moment in time, include Amazon Sword, Asian Ambulia, Java Moss, Christmas Moss, Dwarf Hairgrass, Moss Ball, Hygrophila Polysperma (Sunset var), Bacopa Monieri, Ludwigia repens, Ludwigia Brevipes, Alternathea reinickii, Rosette Swords,Cryptocoryne wendtii v bronze and Nymphaea Stellata.
10 Gallon Planted
10 gallon planted with a wide assortment of plants. Fish list are 3 threadfin rainbows, 6 sparkling gourami and 2 cory cats. There are a ton of ramshorn snails as well.
Filtration is a small penguin biowheel just pretty much for circulation. Lighting is a screw in compact flourescent in a clamp light, hung above the tank.
5 Gallon Planted Hex
This little tank is home to my blue betta. He started out a beautiful black and teal but changed on me. The tank is heavily planted with no special lighting or filtration. All the stock set up from Wal-Mart.
